King’s Ely Acremont Nursery, Pre-Prep, and Prep went all out to celebrate BBC Children in Need yesterday (November 17th)!

At Nursery and Pre-Prep, children and staff grabbed their Pudsey ears and donned their spottiest accessories to raise money and awareness for the annual campaign. Thanks to our families’ ever-shining generosity, a fabulous £274 was raised in donations.

At Prep, cake and lollipop sales were held in our Years 3-8 playgrounds at morning breaktime. Pupils and staff were also able to wear the most colourful attire and accessories they could find, in return for a small donation. There are still a few pennies and pounds to come in, but we can confirm that we are well on the way to reaching a whopping £1,300.

Thank you to every single person who baked, donated, and made that last minute dash to the supermarket for Pudsey accessories!

Children in Need funds thousands of charities and projects in every corner of the UK, all of which support children and young people to feel and be safer, have improved mental health and wellbeing, form better, more positive relationships, and be given more equal opportunities to flourish.
