I am Head Receptionist and Hon Secretary to the Old Eleans’ Club. I have worked at King’s Ely for 37 years!

What do you enjoy most about working here?

I enjoy coming to work every day (well nearly every day!) and not many people can say that I don’t think. I am proud to work for King’s Ely and love being part of the King’s family.

Hobbies/interests outside of school:

Singing and playing the Ukulele.

What did you want to be when you were growing up?

Cookery demonstrator.

If you could have a superpower, what would it be?

To read people’s minds.

What was the last book you read?

‘I Invited Her In’ by Adele Parks.

What song are you most likely to sing at a karaoke?

Love Shack – it’s my ringtone on my phone!

What is your favourite film?

While You Were Sleeping – I used to watch it with my daughters, Amy and Lucy, when they were younger.

Do you have any phobias or fears?

Snakes.

Name three things you would want with you if stranded on a desert island for a week:

Ukulele,
Moisturiser (Can this include a lipstick?),
Radio – I need to listen to plays on Radio 4.
