Diploma in Adult Nursing, Glasgow Caledonian University.

Your current role at King’s Ely and how long you have been a member of staff here:

I’m a School Nurse here at King’s and I joined in February 2021.

What do you enjoy most about working here?

There’s a lovely friendly atmosphere here at King’s. Everyone is happy and welcoming, which makes it a very enjoyable place to work.

Hobbies/interests outside of school:

Horse riding and long distance running, as well as running after my three children!

Do you have any pets?

Yes, a cat called Simba.

What did you want to be when you were growing up?

I always wanted to work for NASA! I’ve visited The Kennedy Space Centre in Florida a few times and once met an astronaut which was amazing. I’m hoping one of my children will have the same aspirations!

If you could have a superpower, what would it be?

To be able to jump back and forth in time.

What was the last book you read?

‘The Turn of the Key’ by Ruth Ware.

What song are you most likely to sing at a karaoke?

‘I Want It That Way’ by the Backstreet Boys!

What is your favourite film?

Couples Retreat.

Do you have any phobias or fears?

Spiders!!!

Name three things you would want with you if stranded on a desert island for a week:

A good book, some matches to light a fire at night time and an inflatable lilo to float in the sea during the day and sleep on at night.
