Biology, Chemistry and Maths.

What do you want to do career wise?

Medicine (Doctor).

How does it feel to be appointed Head of School?

It is a strange feeling but I think the best way to describe it is that I feel happy and excited about the year ahead.

What are you most looking forward to about being Head of School this year?

Empowering students throughout the school and working with the Senior Leadership Team to support new ideas.

‘Accommodating’, ‘encouraging’ and ‘a vibrant community’.

Hobbies/interests outside of school:

Macramé and long walks up mountains.

A very noisy white cat named Banksy who likes to have his say in conversations.

What is your favourite meal/food?

Pizza.

If you could have a superpower, what would it be?

I have always wanted to be able to fly!

Who is your hero?

David Attenborough.

What is your proudest accomplishment?

Being the Hoop Trundle champion of course!

What was the last book you read?

‘The Language of Kindness: A Nurse’s Story’ by Christie Watson.

What song are you most likely to sing at a karaoke?

The Periodic Table Song – I consider this an absolute classic!

What is your favourite film?

Arthur Christmas, although Harry Potter is a close second.

Do you have any phobias or fears?

As a child I was terrified of Gobbo and Sly from Noddy.

Bill Nighy, Helena Bonham Carter, David Attenborough and Queen Elizabeth II.

Name three things you would want with you if stranded on a desert island for a week:

A towel, my swimsuit and a book. To be honest, I would just enjoy living the beach life for a week!
