Why King’s Ely?

King’s Ely is a great academic school which I am very excited to have become a part of. The Rowing programme has gone from strength to strength in recent years and I am looking to continue to develop and grow that successful programme. King’s Ely has first class Rowing facilities and is based on arguably the finest stretch of rowable water in the UK.

What are your main priorities in your new role?

In my new role I will oversee the growth and development of King’s Ely’s rowers, overseeing their personal and Rowing development. I will oversee the day-to-day running of the programme and look after our performance athletes on the GB Rowing Pathway. With the Rowing team, I will create a challenging and fun environment for our athletes to thrive.

If you could have a superpower, what would it be?

The power to control time. With Rowing there are often not enough hours in the day!

Name three things you would want with you if stranded on a desert island for a week:

1) A magnifying glass (to start a fire) 2) A Swiss army knife 3) An endless water supply!
