Full name:

Nell Bond

Where did you grow up?

I grew up in Windsor.

Exeter University for BA and PGCE, followed by a Masters at UCL.

Head of Key Stage 2 Maths.

Your new role at King’s Ely:

Teaching and Learning Lead (Whole School).

What do you enjoy most about working at King’s Ely?

The characters!

Hobbies/interests outside of school:

I love travel, teaching and hummus.

Any pets?

Sadly, no. I’m quite desperate for a dog.

What did you want to be when you were growing up?

A teacher or a midwife!

If you could have a superpower, what would it be?

What was the last book you read?

‘The Chalk Circle Man’ by Fred Vargas.

What song are you most likely to sing at a karaoke?

I would opt out! The last time I did karaoke I chose a song which I had forgotten had a lot of rapping in it and it was a disaster. Never again. It is best for everyone.

What is your favourite film?

Trance or Moonrise Kingdom.

Do you have any phobias or fears?

Embarrassingly, I am afraid of waterparks.

Name three things you would want with you if stranded on a desert island for a week:

Unlimited access to music, a Kindle and Mr Green (or a towel if that isn’t already provided).
