Where did you grow up?

Liverpool, but I also lived in Berkshire for 15 years.

Education:

I trained as a professional dancer at Tiffany Theatre College before moving on to study my degree in Musical Theatre and Drama at London College of Music.

Your previous role and place of work:

I was previously a Housemistress and Head of Year at Roedean School in Brighton. I also spent some time working for North West Ambulance Service as an emergency call handler.

What are you most looking forward to about your new role and working at King’s Ely?

I am looking forward to exploring this beautiful city and building on what already is a warm and friendly home in Priory. I look forward to bringing new ideas on how to make boarding in Priory even more exciting and fun!

What did you want to be when you were growing up?

A vet! I love animals.

Hobbies/interests:

I really enjoy going to the theatre to see shows, as well as cooking. My husband might disagree but I think I am a good cook!

Any pets?

I have two dogs, Alfie and AJ, and two tortoises.

What is your favourite meal/food?

Indian. In particular, Chicken Tikka Masala with pilau rice, onion bhaajis, and a garlic naan!

If you could have a superpower, what would it be?

The ability to immediately grow two extra arms, paired with speed, to keep up with my children!

What is your proudest accomplishment?

My three children.

What was the last book you read?

‘Funny Story’ by Emily Henry.

What song are you most likely to sing at a karaoke?

‘Proud Mary’ or ‘Valerie’. However, I do manage to empty the room when I do karaoke!

What is your favourite film?

‘The Holiday’.

Do you have any phobias or fears?

Heights!

Jürgen Klopp, John Lennon, Matthew Perry, Idina Menzel.
