Where did you grow up?

I was born in Beckenham but grew up in Shirley, Croydon.

Education:

Edenham High School followed by Purley VI Form College.

Your previous role and place of work:

I was an Associate at Inside Pensions.

What are you most looking forward to about working at King’s Ely?

Actually seeing my daughter! She joined Ely Cathedral Girls’ Choir in September 2018 and loves it so much we have to beg her to come home!

Hobbies/interests outside of school:

I row, love running and have been known to do the odd triathlon. I am taking part in the 36K Challenge at Disneyland Paris in September and hope to do the Castle to Coast Challenge in 2020.

What did you want to be when you were growing up?

An animator for Disney!

If you could have a superpower, what would it be?

The power to stop my children growing up so quickly.

What was the last book you read?

‘Unnatural Causes’ by Dr Richard Shepherd.

What song are you most likely to sing at a karaoke?

It really is best for everyone if I don’t sing in public!

What is your favourite film?

The Breakfast Club.

Do you have any phobias or fears?

Getting old!

A stack of good books, my family and all of our pets!
