Education:
I attended Wakefield Girls’ High School and Newcastle University before completing my teacher training in London.
Your previous role and place of work:
I have been an Early Years’ Improvement Adviser for Cambridgeshire County Council for the past four years. Before that, I was Deputy Head of an infant school in North London.
What are you most looking forward to about working at King’s Ely?
I am very much looking forward to getting to know the children at Acremont and being part of the staff team.
Hobbies/interests outside of school:
Live music, theatre, reading, dance.
Any pets?
A lovely Bengal cat called Catra.
What did you want to be when you were growing up?
The ringmaster of a travelling circus!
If you could have a superpower, what would it be?
To control the Elements.
What was the last book you read?
‘Blonde Roots’ by Bernardine Evaristo.

Anything by Cher.

I’m not a big fan of spiders…
