I have a BA in English Literature from the University of Sheffield and an MSc in Library and Information Studies from the University of Aberystwyth.

Research Support Librarian, Technology Libraries, University of Cambridge.

What are you most looking forward to about working at King’s Ely?

Getting to learn about the information needs of students and staff and supporting reading.

Hobbies/interests outside of school:

Ballet, musical theatre, reading and theatre.

Any pets?

Yes, I have a long-haired cat called Pookie, who is 17!

What did you want to be when you were growing up?

I always wanted to be a librarian and set up my own library called the ‘Friendly Lending Library’ for family and friends when I was 8!

What is your favourite meal/food?

Chicken pad Thai.

If you could have a superpower, what would it be?

To help people feel happier when they feel sad.

Who is your hero?

Ginger Rogers. And my dad.

What was the last book you read?

‘A Court of Wings and Ruin’ by Sarah J. Maas.
