I grew up in Malta.

Bachelor of Science (BSc) Mathematics and Computer Science, Master of Science (MSc) Mathematics.

Your current role at King’s Ely and how long you have been a member of staff here:

I am Head of Mathematics and I have been at King’s Ely for almost 7 years now.

What do you enjoy most about working here?

There is such a good sense of community at King’s Ely. I have loads of friends here who are more than just colleagues.

Hobbies/interests outside of school:

Reading, singing in my choir, playing the clarinet and travelling.

What did you want to be when you were growing up?

A vet or a pilot!

If you could have a superpower, what would it be?

Teleportation.

What was the last book you read?

‘Small Great Things’ by Jodi Picoult.

What song are you most likely to sing at a karaoke?

‘A whole new world’ from Aladdin – my daughter asks me to play it at least four times a day!

What is your favourite film?

‘The Twilight Saga’.

Do you have any phobias or fears?

I’m not too keen on flying, hence my superpower!

A kindle loaded with books, bottomless Prosecco and sunglasses.
