Where did you grow up?

All over the world! My father was in the Air Force – I had time in Kenya, Germany and Hong Kong.

Education:

Too many schools to list – Batchelor of Science.

Your current role at King’s Ely and how long you have been a member of staff here:

I am Housemistress of Saunders and teach Mathematics at King’s Ely Junior. I have been at King’s Ely for 32 years!

What do you enjoy most about working here?

The children – watching a child develop from Year 3 to Year 8 is wonderful. I also thoroughly enjoy my Housemistress role.

Hobbies/interests outside of school:

Cycling, skiing, reading, travel and playing the trumpet!

What did you want to be when you were growing up?

A teacher!

If you could have a superpower, what would it be?

To be able to fly.

What was the last book you read?

‘Tombland’ by C.J.Sansom.

What song are you most likely to sing at a karaoke?

‘End of the Sky’ by the Lighthouse Family.

What is your favourite film?

‘The Dove’.

Do you have any phobias or fears?

Not really!

My bike, my trumpet and the Charles Dickens Complete Works.
