Where did you grow up?

Little Downham.

Education:

I studied in Ely and Impington for secondary school and then sixth form. After that, I went to the Academy of Live and Recorded Arts to train as a professional actress.

Your previous role and place of work:

My previous role was a Well-being Assistant at a care home in Cambridge. Before COVID, I was touring Germany playing Portia in ‘The Merchant of Venice’.

What are you most looking forward to about working at King’s Ely?

I have always loved living in Ely and King’s Ely is such a big part of the city. I am looking forward to being part of the King’s community and learning more about the school and its history.

Hobbies/interests outside of school:

Watching live theatre is one of my favourite hobbies. The best performance I’ve ever seen was ‘Amadeus’ at the National Theatre. I also love finding great independent restaurants to go to for dinner.

Any pets?

I have two Dachshunds.

What did you want to be when you were growing up?

Growing up I wanted to be a dancer, I’ve always loved performing.

If you could have a superpower, what would it be?

Time travel.

What was the last book you read?

I am currently reading ‘The Thursday Murder Club’ by Richard Osman.

What song are you most likely to sing at a karaoke?

Dexy’s Midinght Runner’s – ‘Come on Eileen’!

What is your favourite film?

‘The Wizard of Oz’.

Do you have any phobias or fears?

Injections are my biggest phobia.

Name three things you would want with you if stranded on a desert island for a week:

A duvet, Prosecco, and a new Lee Child book.
