SPONSORSHIP money is still trickling in, but we can confirm that King’s Ely Junior’s Santa Runs have raised more than £5,000 for Shooting Star Children’s Hospices!

Pupils in Years 3-8 donned their whackiest Christmas attire for the Santa Runs, which were held during the final week of term and were staggered for Years 3-4, Years 5-6 and then Years 7-8.

The children (and some staff!) were on fantastic form running, jogging and skipping laps of the astro while sporting their festive hats, jumpers and accessories.

Shooting Star Children’s Hospices cares for babies, children and young people with life-limiting conditions, and their families.

Thank you, as ever, to all our pupils, families and staff members for their wonderful spirit and generosity. As you can see by these photos, a heck of a lot of fun was had!
