CATHY Wright, from Ely Foodbank, attended King’s Ely’s Harvest Festival Service at Ely Cathedral on October 12th.
Thank you to all pupils, families, staff and friends of the school who have donated food items for the Foodbank so far. Cathy was both overwhelmed and delighted by the number of items and said that demand on the Foodbank is ever growing, especially with winter just around the corner.
Ely Cathedral’s Harvest Festival takes place this weekend (October 12th to 14th). The displays – including ones by pupils at King’s Ely Acremont & Nursery and King’s Ely Junior – are open to the public from 10am-5pm on Saturday and 10am-4pm on Sunday. Admission is free.
