Congratulations to King’s Ely Prep pupil, Georgie, who has achieved her black belt in kickboxing!
Georgie, who is in Year 6, started the martial art and combat sport in the summer of 2021. She trains twice a week at Pro Martial Arts Schools, with her instructor, Darren Cave.
Skilful Georgie was awarded her black belt following a two-and-a-half hour grading exam.
When asked what she plans to do next, Georgie’s mum, Emilee, said: “Georgie plans on continuing her training into the later black belt grades. Her next belt will be the 2nd Dan level, but at least two years must have passed before she is able to grade again. She has also taken interest in other martial arts, and is currently enjoying Karate Club at King’s!”
