KING’S Ely Junior spearheaded their fundraising for the new academic year with a bumper charity bake sale at breaktime this morning (September 17th).

As ever, pupils, staff and families went all out for the occasion, baking and purchasing a whole host of edible goodies for our school community to enjoy.

The bake sale was raising funds for Hope for Uganda and we hope to have topped up enough money to send out a selection of hockey sticks, balls and bibs to children and families supported by the charity.

Hope for Uganda strives to lift people out of poverty through meeting their basic needs and providing opportunities for education. The charity also runs medical outreaches in remote areas.
