King’s Ely Junior pupil, Chloe, did a fabulous job of teaching her peers some fascinating facts about Egypt.

Our Year 4s are learning all about Egyptian life this term, so when Chloe mentioned to her teacher, Rachel Axten-Higgs, that she had visited there with her family, it was an opportunity too good to miss.

Chloe made a presentation all about her family holiday last October, and then spoke to pupils and staff about the Pyramids of Giza, Cairo Museum, Saqqara, Valley of the Kings, and lots more.

Mrs Axten-Higgs said: “Chloe’s presentation was fantastic! She created a PowerPoint and some prompt cards, and she delivered her presentation very professionally in the Morbey Hall. Chloe also answered lots of questions from her peers.

“Thank you to Chloe’s mum for coming along to support her with the question and answer session. We learnt lots of interesting facts and we would all love to visit Egypt ourselves now!”
