“THE prospect of moving our two daughters from Buckinghamshire to Norfolk last year was daunting for a number of reasons, but particularly as Emily was in Year 9, had already made her GCSE choices and therefore was at a rather crucial stage.

“Also, Sophie had just passed her Eleven-plus and was looking forward to starting at Grammar School. The girls are very different in just about every way so we were very concerned we wouldn’t be able to find a school to suit both, plus we were nervous about the change from the state to independent sector.

“One term later, I am both delighted and relieved to say that King’s Ely has provided all that I had hoped for and more. Academically, they are being challenged and supported to suit their individual needs, plus they have developed their interests and skills in the sports they enjoy, and in Emily’s case discovered a new sport in Rowing.

“The girls felt settled within a week or two, they have made good, strong friendships and are consequently thriving, even with their long day travelling to and from King’s Lynn by train.”
