KING’S Ely siblings, Cameron and Jason, are taking part in the ‘Young people help by writing letters to care home residents during pandemic initiative’, which has been launched by the YOPEY (Young People of the Year) charity.

Cameron and Jason, who are both pupils at King’s Ely Junior, each wrote a friendly letter that was then emailed to residents in a local care home through the charity. They were both chuffed to bits to receive their written responses back from Beryl and June!

YOPEY is encouraging children and young people from across the region to get involved in the scheme, which is designed to help keep care home residents smiling during the current COVID-19 pandemic.
