BUDDING young artists will be showcasing their work in Ely this spring.

Paintings, sculptures, fashion designs and photographs by some of the most talented King’s Ely Senior students will be on display during the school’s Spring Art Exhibition from March 15 to 28.

The exhibition is being held in the Senior Art Department, which can be accessed via The Gallery. Entry is free and members of the public are most welcome.

Director of Art, Alison Rhodes, said: “The Spring Art Exhibition will showcase examples of work from Years 9 to 13 and promises to display highly original outcomes, covering the specialist areas of fashion and textiles, fine art, sculpture and photography. All of the studios will be open as well as the gallery space.”

Doors will be open between 9am and 5pm on weekdays, 9am until noon on Saturdays. The Private View is on Friday March 14.
