WHAT an amazing day for our annual Old Elean v King’s Ely Student Boat Race on June 29th!
The weather was glorious and the support from everyone was superb, which certainly created an atmosphere and a day to remember.
The races were very well contested and resulted in the students winning 2-1. They were followed by refreshments at the Babylon Gallery, where Mark Wilkinson, current President of the Old Eleans’ Club, was congratulated and thanked for his 50 year connection with King’s Ely.
Thank you to everyone who contributed to making the event such a success, including the organisers, those who raced and those who supported!
