OUR Year 5 King’s Ely Junior pupils enjoyed an action-packed virtual History Off The Page experience today (February 24th) to launch their new theme in History – the Ancient Greeks.
Children (and staff!) dressed to impress (thank you parents and carers!) and spent the morning making laurel wreaths, mosaics, charms and medicine. They also designed and painted a tile in Ancient Greek style.
Pupils were guided through the activities by their virtual visitor – Aegeus – a proud Spartan warrior and father, who provided them with the historical context behind what they were doing.
Thank you History Off The Page – everyone had a brilliant time and they are all very excited to continue their Ancient Greeks studies!
