TO say it has been a busy first few weeks of the new term for our Drama Department would be a slight understatement.
Students and staff have had auditions for ‘Medea’ (Year 12-13 production); auditions and rehearsals for ‘Wendy and Peter Pan’ (Year 9-11 production); a stage combat rehearsal led by Old Elean and Combat Instructor, Orlando Squires; auditions for ‘A Night at The Musicals’; trips to CURVE theatre, Leicester and Nottingham Playhouse to see ‘Cat on a Hot Tin Roof’ and ‘Blood Brothers’; Stanislavski Masterclasses; the start of Tech Theatre Clubs; A Level Berkoff Workshops… and breathe!
