“HALF term arrives this evening to offer the children a very well-earned rest from routine. The first half of term built from our cautious but relieved return back in September, into what has become an energised and enthusiastic pattern of busy days here at school.

“Thank you for all the support along the way, which has encouraged the children to adjust so well to the near-normal range of activities and lessons on offer – long may they continue when we reconvene after the break.

“If you have yet to read it, please may I take this opportunity to draw your attention back to the letter and accompanying poster sent out last week from Mr Attwater. The advice about the various ways we need to act should we be concerned about a potential or actual infection within our households was conveniently summarised and is relevant – particularly for the return after half term.

“The team and I wish you and the children a healthy and happy time together over the holiday and look forward to welcoming them back to their classrooms on Monday 9th November.”
