“ALONG with the seven new students who joined King’s Ely Junior this week, our chicks have also enjoyed great attention and a warm welcome. The “Chick Cam” has had all eyes glued to it as the eggs cracked and the chicks emerged to take their first steps and fluff their wings!
“The excitement of what is to come for them echoed our sense of anticipation over what this new term will bring. The past week has been a splendid beginning and we are all eager to hear about all that Year 8 achieved whilst they were in Wales.
“Next week will bring the start of many of our activities and clubs with the opening of the swimming pool. There are lots of options this term and we look forward to seeing many of the children thriving outside in the warmer weather.
