“AS this first half term draws to a close, I am incredibly grateful to pupils and staff for their fortitude, patience and ingenuity throughout these last seven weeks. Thank you to all parents for their continued support and patience throughout.
“We are particularly grateful for the contributions to the Ely Foodbank over the last few weeks. Mr Mathie and some Sixth Formers were able to deliver a particularly impressive quantity of goods at lunchtime today.
“I wish everyone all the very best, wherever you spend this midterm break, but also spare a thought for the handful of boarders (and for their parents) who are staying in school due to the travel restrictions.
