“Last Friday’s OSFEST and Colour Run epitomised for me what is best about King’s. Miraculously the weather held, resulting in a fantastic afternoon of fundraising and activity. Most impressively, the stalls and activities were all pupil-led and involved students from all parts of the school. Thank you to everyone who supported, to Mr Lott and Osmond House for OSFEST, and to Dr Skeels and Torfrida House for the Colour Run.

“Today is a pivotal day for the Year 11s and Year 13s, as it is their last day of formal lessons. We wish them all the very best for the coming weeks and we encourage them to take care of themselves and each other. Dr Rangan Chatterjee’s “4 Pillar Plan”, encouraging us to Relax (take breaks), Eat (healthily), Move (exercise), and Sleep provides an excellent framework for negotiating the challenges of revision.

“I would also like to congratulate Ben Burton for his fantastic achievement. Out of over 21,000 entries from students across the UK this year, Ben’s sculpture of Leytonstone Station has been accepted as one of only a very few to be displayed as part of the prestigious Royal Academy of Art’s Young Artist Summer Show 2023. This is an amazing achievement, and we are grateful to Tom Ward and Eleanor Herring in the Art Department for their support and guidance.”
