“THE Monastic Barn is currently adorned with the flags of the 24 countries competing in the delayed Euro 2020 which starts tonight. A flag will disappear each time a country is eliminated. Whilst we might not have a pupil representing every Euro 2020 country, we do have pupils from all corners of the globe, from approximately 40 nationalities. This is something of which we are very proud and it certainly enriches the school experience for everyone.

“From this September, to improve integration of all pupils, Year 9 and Year 12 tutor groups will no longer be single-sex or House-based. We are confident this will allow boys and girls, boarders and day, international and home based pupils to mix more effectively on a day-to-day basis.

“On a separate note, today was the last official day in school for Year 11 and Year 13 pupils. We look forward to seeing them back for various events between now and the end of term, most importantly for Prizegiving on Friday 25th June at 2.30pm and on the last day of term for the Leavers’ Assembly and Service.

“All the very best.”
