“THE final of the Senior Instrumental Music Festival Competition, held on Thursday night in the South Transept of the Cathedral, was a fitting way to end this half term.
“I continue to be in awe of the quality of our musicians; the standard of all performances was exceptional. Well done to everyone who performed and thank you to the Music Department for organising such a fantastic evening.
“It has been a very busy and fulfilling half-term. The hive of activity that we associate with school life in pre-Covid times has returned in abundance. Thank you to all pupils, parents and staff who have continued to support the school in so many ways.
“I wish everyone a safe and enjoyable mid-term break.”
