A GROUP of King’s Ely Senior’s Year 12 Biology students enjoyed a fieldtrip to Wicken Fen Nature Reserve just before half term.

The students took part in a walking tour all about cuckoo behaviour, which was led by Nick Davies, a leading expert on the subject.

Vital to the breadth of our students’ education, enrichment helps to place their studies in a wider intellectual landscape. Enrichment opportunities in the Sixth Form include talks by visiting speakers, either to the whole Sixth Form or to smaller subject-specific academic societies, student-led discussion evenings, and visits and trips organised by academic departments.
