Our Junior Boarders have enjoyed a fun-filled first fortnight of the Lent Term, with a trip to Clip ‘n Climb Cambridge, canvas painting, movie nights, clay modelling, dog walks, ping-pong competitions, and not forgetting some obligatory games of Charades and Jenga!

There are two Junior Boarding Houses at King’s – Priory and Walsingham. Each House is led by a Housemistress who lives in the same building with her own family and pets. This creates a close-knit and nurturing environment for our Boarders – very much a home from home.

Our Junior Boarding provision is intentionally flexible so that it accommodates the requirements of a broad range of families. Some of our Boarders are from the Ely area, some are from Norfolk, Suffolk, London etc; and some travel to us from as far away as Hong Kong and the Maldives!

We are proud that both Priory House and Walsingham House are buildings which are steeped in history, yet communities which very much reflect the 21st century.
