OUR ‘Higher Education and Graduate Careers: Visiting Speakers’ programme for Year 12 students is in full swing.

On January 21st, we welcomed Marcus Burnett, Director of Burnett Global Education Ltd, into school to speak to students about degrees in Business Management and Hospitality at global universities, such as in Switzerland, Spain and Dubai.

On January 28th, Old Elean, Beatrice White, returned to the Old Palace to speak to Year 12. Beatrice is a Manager and Workforce Strategy and Culture Consultant at Price Waterhouse Coopers. Beatrice discussed opportunities for graduates, both in the UK and overseas, as well as the company’s Higher Apprenticeship Scheme.

Tomorrow (February 5th), Mollie Charge, Head of Admissions at New College of the Humanities, is coming into school. Talks and presentations after Mollie’s include ‘Graduate Careers in the Forces’, ‘Law: Entry Routes into the Legal Profession’, and ‘Practising Medicine in the Navy’.

Our Sixth Form provision and higher education programmes were highlighted as excellent in our latest Independent Schools Inspectorate (ISI) inspection report.
