AN ‘Introduction to Sixth Form Life’ event took place on June 21st for our current Year 11 students.
Pupils came together in the Old Palace Lecture Theatre in their year group safety bubbles to hear presentations from Mr Attwater, Mr Shaw, Mrs Thomas and the Sixth Form Team.
Students then went around school to experience taster lessons of their chosen A Level subjects and were given a variety of suggested activities to do over the summer in order to prepare them to ‘hit the ground running’ in September.
Current Sixth Form students were also on hand to talk to pupils about things like Sixth Form social evenings, extra-curricular opportunities and the food options available in the Old Palace Refectory!
