WELL done to students in Withburga House at King’s Ely Senior, who have donated dozens of gift bags filled with Christmas goodies to Ely Foodbank.
The girls and their Housemistress, Sue-Ellen Godde, decided they wanted to help bring a little festive cheer to local people who are struggling or in crisis, by packing as many Christmas bags as they could with gifts and goodies for the Foodbank to then distribute in the run-up to the big day.
The girls and their families’ generosity has resulted in 35 gift bags being donated!
