WHAT a privilege to welcome award-winning wildlife filmmaker and Old Elean Hugh Miles back to King’s Ely for a look around the school on October 24th.
Hugh, pictured here with his lovely wife, Sue, left, and our Archivist, Elizabeth Stazicker, centre, was a student at King’s Ely from 1951-1961 and was an Ely Cathedral chorister.
Hugh has travelled the world as a wildlife filmmaker and to say his memories of school and tales of his travels are fascinating would be a slight understatement.
