ANNA Willis (15) has successfully auditioned for Youth Music Theatre UK’s production of Burnt Out Souls.
The King’s Ely student will be playing the violin as part of a string quartet in the newly commissioned musical, which will be performed at Riverside Studios in Hammersmith, London, from August 30 until September 1, 2013.
“This is a fantastic opportunity for Anna as she is not only a talented musician but also a keen musical theatre devotee,” said Director of Performance Studies at King’s Ely Senior, Adella Charlton.
Anna also loves singing and is a member of Ely Cathedral Girls’ Choir. She recently sang solo at a star-studded event in London to raise money for the children’s counselling service, ChildLine.
