OLD Elean Yinni Hu has been awarded a Scholarship in Philosophy, Politics and Economics by the University of Oxford in recognition of winning the Proxime Accessit Gibbs Prize for Politics.
The award entitles Yinni to wear a Scholar’s gown and the Gibbs Fund was established in 1922 following a bequest in the will of Mr Charles Day Dowling Gibbs. It is used to provide prizes based on performance in examinations or assessments. Prizes are awarded in over 25 subjects and winners are chosen by the Chairs of Examiners.
