King's Ely TESTIMonial

Testimonial by King's Ely parents, Mr and Mrs Lee

August 2026

"Choosing King’s Ely for our three children has been one of the best decisions that we have made as a family. With our children now in Nursery, Year 3, and Year 6, we have experienced different stages of the school, and our eldest has been part of the King's community since starting in the Nursery when he was one-years-old. Mr Lee also attended the school himself, so King’s has become a particularly special part of our family’s story.

"What has impressed us most over the years is how the school has continued to evolve and grow, whilst never losing sight of what really matters: the individual child. As the school has grown in size, so too has its understanding of the increasingly complex developmental, emotional, and educational needs of children. There is a real sense that children are seen as individuals, with their own personalities, strengths, challenges, and interests, rather than simply as part of a year group.

"Our three children are very different from one another, and it has been incredibly reassuring to see each of them supported in their own way. They are encouraged to be curious, independent, and confident, while knowing that there is always someone there to guide and support them. The result is that they are not only progressing academically, but are genuinely thriving and, most importantly to us, continuing to enjoy their education.

"We have also loved seeing how many opportunities the children are given beyond the classroom. There is a real breadth to school life, which allows children to discover interests, develop confidence, and experience things they may not otherwise have the opportunity to try.

"Having been part of the school community for so many years, we have seen plenty of change, but the thing that has remained constant is the care and commitment of the staff. They know our children, understand them, and genuinely want them to do well and be happy.

"To have three children at different stages of their school journey, all coming home enthusiastic about what they have learnt and excited about what is next, is something we feel very fortunate to experience. King’s is such an important part of our family’s life, and we are incredibly grateful for the start it is giving all three of our children."
