Success for King's Ely Equestrian Team at NSEA National Championships
October 2026
October 2026
King's Ely riders were on fantastic form at the National Schools Equestrian Association (NSEA) National Championships!
Members of our Equestrian Team and their beloved ponies came home with lots of rosettes and an even greater sense of pride from the Championships, which took place at Addington Equestrian in Buckinghamshire.
The following results were achieved:
70cm Jumping with Style class
Iris, Georgia, Isabella, and Sophia rode their socks off in what was a challenging course to place an incredible 2nd. A brilliant achievement by the girls, which saw them take to the podium and win bundles of prizes. Iris and Isabella also shared an additional individual prize called ‘Best of the Rest’, as they both rode phenomenal clear rounds.
80cm Show Jumping class
Rosie (having placed 2nd in the 80cm warm up class), Georgia, Isabella, and Sophia rode impressively, placing 2nd in the first round - out of 35 teams. The top eight teams then competed in the jump-off later in the day to secure those top placings. It was nail-biting stuff as they went in reverse order, however Rosie, Georgia, Sophia, and Isabella flew round the course, retaining their 2nd place and a well-deserved spot on the podium. Again, lots of prizes and smiles - they were beaten to the top spot by just 0.34 of a second!
70cm Show Jumping class
Iris and Paul competed in the warm-up class. Iris was 6th and Paul was 12th. They then took on the 70cm Championship class. Both had clear rounds, with Iris coming 21st and Paul 32nd, individually.
80cm Jumping with Style class
Georgia, Isabella, Sophia, and Olivia competed. They all rode well, however a couple of faults just knocked them out of the placings. No rosettes this year, but so much was learned.
Congratulations all. What a weekend - we are super proud of your achievements!
