Ten King’s Ely Senior and Sixth Form students completed their Gold Duke of Edinburgh’s Award (DofE) assessed expedition during half term.

The intrepid group spent four days trekking and camping in the Brecon Beacons, clocking up around 20-kilometres each day.

All students passed the assessed expedition with flying colours and they are on track to achieving their full Gold DofE Award by the end of this academic year.

Congratulations to: Robert Banwell, Mollie Chamberlain, David du Plooy, Midu Gurung, Kseniia Kiniashova, Hattie Nicolson, Aron O’Connor, Annabelle Penn, Mara Pintece, and Max Black!
