CONGRATULATIONS to King’s Ely Junior pupils and siblings, Rosie and Izzy Stephen, for their success at the Royal Norfolk Show!

The girls are avid shepherdesses and have a small flock of rare breed Norfolk Horn and Border Leicester sheep at their family home, near King’s Lynn.

Rosie showed her Norfolk Horn ram lamb in the main sheep classes at the Royal Norfolk Show, in which they were placed first and achieved Reserve Male Champion.

Rosie also came second in the Young Handlers Class, which has qualified her for the Rare Breeds Survival Trust’s Young Shepherd of the Year Finals later this year!

Izzy showed her Border Leicester ewe lamb in the main classes and came second.

Well done girls – all that time spent caring for and halter training your sheep for the show certainly paid off!
