KING’S Ely came second in the UK Maths Team Challenge for the second year running.

King’s Ely Junior pupils John Lau and James MacGillivray, and King’s Ely Senior students Elliot Bord and Ben Collier, represented the school in the Regional Final of the competition, which was held at the Centre for Mathematical Sciences on March 18th.

The team did amazingly, coming second out of a whopping 29 teams on the day, meaning they still have a chance to qualify for the National Finals in London in June.

Congratulations to the team and to St Faith’s School, whose students came 1st on the day!
