THE cast of our eagerly-anticipated Year 9 and 10 outdoor summer production – an adaptation of Jane Austen’s ‘Pride and Prejudice’ – came together for their first read-through before the end of term.

Alexandra Moxon, Director in Residence at King’s Ely, said: “The standard of auditions was incredibly impressive and the attendees were extremely well prepared. After some difficult decisions, we are delighted to have now cast the production, and have held our first read-through.

“It is always brilliant hearing a script read for the first time and observing their initial instincts for their characters. I am hugely excited to begin rehearsals after Easter on such a wonderfully popular comedy.”

‘Pride and Prejudice’ will be staged in our Old Palace Gardens on June 30th and July 1st.
