OLD Elean, Rebecca Daniel, is travelling to South Africa on March 28th to compete in the 2022 Women’s FIH Hockey World Cup.
Rebecca, 21, and who is from the Newmarket area, is representing Hockey Wales, who play a warm-up game against Zimbabwe on March 30th, followed by their group opener on April 2nd against India. Wales then play Malaysia on April 3rd before completing their pool games against Germany.
Rebecca, who left King’s Ely Sixth Form in 2018/19, is currently in her final year at Durham University, where she is studying Sports Science.
