KING’S Ely Junior pupils have submitted some wonderful drawings of the Notre-Dame for the campaign that Mrs Oldham is running in school.

After the terrible fire which partially destroyed the world-famous Cathedral, the Diocese of Paris has launched a special call for contributions to the repair – from children.

Archbishop Michel Aupetit of Paris is asking children from across the globe to draw the Notre-Dame as they know it or imagine it. These drawings will then be selected and printed on tarpaulins at the construction site, covering the tragedy of the fire with a beautiful coloured veil.

Any King’s Ely pupils who would like to draw the Notre-Dame during half term are more than welcome to do so as Mrs Oldham will be sending a second package out to Paris on Monday 24th February.

Happy drawing!
