OUR Year 12 Psychology students came together – virtually – for a cooking lesson with a twist!
As a treat for their outstanding commitment throughout the year, Mr Quinn, Head of Psychology at King’s Ely Senior, organised for them to enjoy a virtual end of term cooking lesson delivered by Diaspo, as seen on Sky News and the BBC recently.
Diaspo is a new company that delivers intimate cooking lessons and demonstrations that have a real social mission; a mission to enable and empower older adults to share their knowledge, culture and wisdom with the world, doing what they love.
Our students (and Mr and Mrs Quinn!) learnt to cook some delicious Italian food with Karim – thank you Karim and thank you to Mr Quinn for organising the session!
