RECEPTION pupils at King’s Ely Acremont were visited by Graham, a real life Paleontologist.

The children were very excited to see and hold some of the fossils Graham, aka the ‘Dinosaur Man’, had found around the world. Their favourites were the 75 million year old dinosaur egg and the coprolite – dinosaur dung!

Having mastered re-telling the story ‘We’re Going on a Bear Hunt’, the children innovated the story and re-told it as ‘We’re Going on a Dinosaur Hunt’.

They thought about the habitat the dinosaurs lived in millions of years ago and included lava and volcanoes in their dinosaur hunt journey.
