IN Science, our Year 5 King’s Ely Junior pupils are learning all about the primary and intermediate phases of the moon.

What better way to investigate this than with the help of OREO biscuits?!

Key Stage 2 Teacher, Michelle Bottomley, said: “Much fun is being had in constructing and eventually eating the moon phases. Of the classes which have completed the challenge so far, it appears in the eating that Full Moon is the favourite of the phases, closely followed by Waxing and Waning Gibbous. It is a tricky and sticky task, but a very fun way to learn!”
