OUR Senior boarders came together in the Old Palace Gardens for an open-air cinema night on June 9th.

The inaugural event was organised by girls in Wendreda House and around 60 students from King’s Ely Senior’s other boarding houses turned out to watch ‘Men In Black’ and enjoy homemade candy floss, popcorn and pizza.

Not only was the event great fun and a wonderful way for our boarding community to come together and socialise outdoors on a warm evening, but money raised from refreshment and glow stick sales has also raised more than £200 for Hope4Malawi, which is one of our school charities this year.

Well done to Wendreda House for organising the event and thank you to everyone who supported it – it looks like the open-air cinema night could become an annual date on the King’s calendar!
